I have noticed in Britain, they have been using surveillance camera's everywhere, in stores, and now in the streets.
The same thing is happening here in America as well. Cameras that hang along some high crime areas.
What happens is, the crime is shifted to other locations, thus, allowing for more camera's to be installed. This becomes excused because people want don't want crime in their neighborhood.
My problem is this, if installing cameras only moves crime from one area to another, then in effect, we are not controlling crime, only controlling our personal escape from Big Brother.
